TERMS OF
SERVICE.
These terms govern your use of the CodeWatchdog website and services. By using this site or submitting any form, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
CodeWatchdog provides two services:
- AI Deep Scan: An automated code analysis tool powered by a third-party AI model (Anthropic Claude). Results are generated algorithmically and are not a substitute for professional security advice.
- Human Code Review: A paid service in which senior engineers review your codebase and deliver a written report. Engagements are governed by a separate project agreement and NDA.
You may use this service only for lawful purposes and only in relation to code that you own or have explicit authorisation to submit for review. You must not:
- Submit code belonging to a third party without their written consent
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
- Use the service to analyse malicious code with intent to develop or deploy it
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when submitting contact or application forms
- Probe, scrape, or stress-test the infrastructure in any automated way
AI scan results are generated by a language model and may contain errors, omissions, or false positives. They do not constitute a security certification, audit opinion, or professional recommendation. You are responsible for verifying findings before acting on them.
CodeWatchdog makes no warranty that the AI scanner will detect every vulnerability in submitted code. The scanner is a tool to assist review, not a comprehensive security guarantee.
Paid human review engagements are subject to a separate project-specific agreement which will be provided before work commences. That agreement governs scope, deliverables, payment terms, timelines, and confidentiality. These general terms apply to the extent not superseded by the project agreement.
An NDA is standard on every human review engagement. We do not begin review work until a project agreement has been signed by both parties.
All code you submit for review remains your property. By submitting code you grant CodeWatchdog a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to process and analyse that code solely for the purpose of delivering the requested service.
The CodeWatchdog website, including its design, copy, and tooling, is the property of Noir Protocols. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of it without written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CodeWatchdog and Noir Protocols shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this service, including but not limited to losses arising from reliance on AI scan results.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of this service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the territory in which Noir Protocols is registered. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
We may update these terms at any time. The current version is always accessible at this URL. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If the changes are material, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
Questions about these terms can be directed to us via the Contact page.
